This department has staff on duty 24 hours a day to deal with urgent medical consultations in General Medicine, Paediatrics, Gynaecology and Trauma. The department also has the collaboration of Radiology, Clinical Analysis Laboratory and different specialist areas of the hospital which deal with emergencies on a localised basis (General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Vascular Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Urology, etc.).
